GUIDE TO MULTI-USER INSTALLATIONS

The multi-user installation of this product requires:

1. A server computer accessible through a network to the workstations requiring access to this application.
2. Workstation computers running Microsoft Internet Explorer.

To complete network installation, three separate steps are required. The first step is install Florida Law 2011 on CD on the server computer. The option to install completely to the hard drive instead of leaving data files on the CD must be selected.

The second step is to run Serv-Go.exe from the sub-folder ..\Net-Set of the installation destination folder. This step creates and starts the Florida Law 2011 product as a Service. It also places a shortcut on the server's desktop named "FL Law 2011-net".

The last step is run on the workstation. It runs silently, needs no user interaction, and runs very quickly. This process copies the FL Law 2011 shortcut onto the workstation desktop. Additionally, the icon file used by the shortcut is copied to the workstation computer so that the shortcut maintains its appearance. The third step is started by running the application Work-Set.exe. This initiation file is found and requires access to the other files in ..\Net-Set sub-folder of the installation destination folder. The folder can be copied or shared to permit workstation access during the setup, but is not needed after that.
